If you store your photos in a folder, on your hard drive, you may never look at them more than once. There is always something else to do on a computer than switching between photos, on a dull image viewer. MemoWalk provides a simple, but effective solution. It allows you to create a slideshow with your pictures and burn it as a DVD movie. Thus, you can save some space on your hard drive, make sure that your pictures won't get lost or damaged and of course, you will be able to present your pictures on a TV.

You don't have to meet any special requirements before installing MemoWalk on your computer. The setup wizard will guide you through a series of simple configurations. The software's files will be installed in a few moments and you will be able to launch it right away.

MemoWalk is built with speed and simplicity in mind. A slideshow can be created in less than a minute, after which you can export it or burn it to a DVD. The entire procedure involves four simple tasks, which you may carry out in any order you want, on separate tabs.

The software allows you to explore your local folders on its interface. When you locate your photos, you can add them to the slideshow, by clicking and dragging them to the lower region of the interface. Inserted photos are displayed as thumbnails, in a video timeline, along with their assigned transition effects. It is possible to arrange the images in a new order and select different transitions effects.

Soundtracks can be added the same way, but on a different tab. You just need to click and drag an audio file to the slideshow's timeline. MemoWalk allows you to preview your slideshow, in standard or widescreen mode. Finally, you can make the necessary configurations to export or burn your slideshow. You can either select a removable drive or a local folder as the output path. If you decide to burn the project, the software will create a DVD movie. If you want to save it on the hard drive, the slideshow will be converted to MPG format. You can also select an aspect ratio and choose between NTSC and PAL TV norms.

Pros

The software allows you to browse through your local folders and add pictures to a slideshow just by clicking and dragging the files. You can also add soundtracks and change the transition effects. Furthermore, you can burn the slideshow or export it in MPG format and choose between different aspect ratios and TV norms.

Cons

While using the software on Windows 7, you may encounter a few technical issues if you click and drag your files. Thanks to MemoWalk's straightforward functionality, anyone, including beginners, can save their photos as DVD movies, without any effort.
